Andrews Rd Project - Kitchen and Dining

Our Andrew's Street project allowed us to work with the loveliest family to create more functional storage, better work zones, and a kitchen that aesthetically felt more like them. Here are our favourite things that we changed in this kitchen.

1. Made the existing bulkheads work. You know I love a kitchen cabinet that goes up to the ceiling. So, working with the existing bulkhead and making it tie in perfectly with the cabinets was a game changer for this space.

2. Saying bye-bye to the corner cabinet. We wanted to give our clients more storage options, especially for some of their appliances. So, removing the corner cabinet in this space opened up the whole corner and allowed us to add an oversized appliance garage.

3. A microwave story. We went back and forth with our clients on the microwave. We had designed a custom range, but in the end, to make the space work best for them, keeping the microwave above the stove was it. So, downsizing it while still keeping it functional for our clients created more head space while working at the beautiful new range, all while giving them the functionality they needed.
